Stapleton Under the Stars
Movies – Concerts – it’s time to enjoy them in your backyard, just steps from local shops and restaurants, in the heart of the Stapleton community, outside underneath the stars. Stapleton Under the Stars is the latest addition to the wide range of activities and events that are happening at Stapleton. Stapleton Under the Stars is the summer movie and concert series that will be held throughout the summer at Founders’ Green in the East 29th Avenue Town Center, located just east of Quebec Street on 29th Avenue. Stapleton Under the Stars will kick off on Saturday, June 5th with a three-band concert to enliven the annual Founders’ Day celebration. The great talents of local artists DeVotchKa and Matthew Moon will thrill the audience. Opening act will begin at 6:00 p.m., DeVotchKa will follow at 6:40 p.m. and Matthew Moon will begin his performance at 8:05 p.m. Additional concerts will be held in July and August. Stapleton Under the Stars will also feature eight movie nights throughout the summer, featuring movies that everyone will enjoy, including the all time favorite Grease and recent movie releases like Harry Potter. Movie dates are June 16th, June 30th, July 14th, July 28th, August 11th, August 25th and September 1st. Watch the web site and Stapleton Front Porch for more details throughout the summer.
