Advertising Guidelines :: Deadlines, Payment and Terms
Deadlines
Signed contract for new ad – due by the 10th of the month prior to publication, with confirmation of exact ad size.
Ad Files – due by the 13th of the month prior to publication (regardless of weekends or holidays). Email to
design@fineprintco.com. The advertiser is responsible for making sure artwork was received.
Subsequent months – Advertisers must notify the Front Porch by the 10th of the month if the ad is being changed and confirm exact ad size. New artwork should be received by the 13th of the month (regardless of weekends or holidays). If no new artwork is received, the same ad will be repeated. The advertiser is responsible for making sure that new artwork or ad changes were received.
Payment/Late Fees
Payment by credit card or check must be received by the 15th of the month prior to publication. The Front Porch reserves the right to charge a $35 fee for processing late payments.
Contracts and invoices are emailed or faxed. Contracts must be signed and returned and payment must be received prior to publication unless other payment arrangements are made at the time the contract is signed. Confirmation of the credit card transaction, listed as “Stapleton Front Porch,” is sent by email.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be received in writing by the 10th of the month (emailed cancellations must have confirmation that email was received). Front Porch does not offer refunds for cancellations but will give a credit for a later issue within six months.
Positioning
Positioning is based on size of ad, whether the ad is black or color, and ad space available relative to the articles on each page. Front Porch does not guarantee exact positioning except for full page ads. Ads with multiple insertions will be rotated subject to the factors listed above.
Ad Design
Front Porch will lay out provided materials submitted by the advertiser at no charge, EXCEPT complimentary layout of bronze size ads is limited to one layout per 4x contract or three layouts per 9x contract. One-time bronze ads will be billed $50 for layout. Ad changes for bronze ads (more frequent than that listed above), other than errors by our staff, will be billed at $60/hour (minimum $25).
Front Porch may or may not be able to make changes to ads that are not created inhouse, depending on the format. We can often re-size advertisers’ existing ads to fit our spaces.
Errors and Omissions
Front Porch is not responsible for printing errors that may occur on ads supplied by outside agencies/designers. Designers should review the Technical Specifications to ensure the best quality printing.
